Editors

Anna Cala is a senior at Ireton and a member of the Bishop Ireton volleyball team. She is the Head Technical Editor of the newspaper and is awesome.

Katie Crouch is the Head Content Editor, as well as the News Editor of the BI Word. She is a senior, and this is her second year on the BI Word staff. When she isn't working on the paper, she is working at the Chart House in Old Towne, doing school work, or hanging out with friends. Katie hopes to continue her interest journalism in college, and plans to pursue a degree in communications or law.

Ricardo De Los Rios is a senior at Ireton and a member of the Bishop Ireton Varsity Soccer Team. Ricardo devotes his time between soccer, watching soccer, playing soccer, and reading. Ricardo is the Head Technical Editor and enjoys working with Anna Cala.

Kaylyn Krzemien is a senior at Ireton. She is on the varsity dive team. She is Head Content Editor and takes her job very seriously. However, she still likes to make time to watch basketball.

Kaitlyn Mahafkey is a senior. This is her second year in Journalism. She is now an editor. She is also a member of the swim team and the crew team. She enjoys writing for the paper and informing the school. She also enjoys hanging out with friends.

Grace McConville is a senior. This is her second year in Journalism. She is also a member of the varsity swim team. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and being outside.

Kyle Snodgrass is a senior and a sports editor for the BI Word. He is a three time varsity basketball player and a four year Ireton student.

Reporters

Chelsea Anderson is a junior who enjoys long walks on the beach, silent movies, and the occasional underground concert. She is a contributor to the fresh-squeezed water polo team here at Ireton.

Lisa Bernardi is a junior and this is her first year in Journalism. She is a varsity cheerleader and plays the cello. In her spare time, she creates the BI Word website and dances as much as she possibly can.

Patrick Evans is a retired soccer, basketball, baseball and water polo player. He likes CSI: Miami and chinchillas. He hates smart cars. His favorite band is Tonight’s Attire.

Jay Green is a junior and a three sport athlete. He plays football and lacrosse and wrestles. His favorite football team is the New Orleans Saints.

Scott Martin is a junior. This is his first year taking Journalism. He plays varsity football. His favorite music is country and likes to write about sports.

Michele McFadden is a junior who enjoys wandering through forests and meditating on remote mountain tops. Upon graduating she plans to go to college and travel.

Gina Milatzo is a junior at Ireton. She enjoys traveling and going to concerts. She loves writing for the BI Word.

Kate O'Connell is a junior in Mr. Wilson’s advisory. She works and volunteers at Community Lodgings. She likes to run, watch films, and go to local concerts.
